>> Universal Flute & Gunnose Grinder (UFGG)
The ITM UFGG is a Flute Grinding Machine for grinding taps, reamers, drills or endmills with an optional automatic part loading system. With nine CNC controlled axes, setup time is fast (usually 10 minutes or less), making the machine economical for both large or small production runs. This machine can be set-up to grind straight flutes, fast helix flutes and gunnose flutes in one clamping.
Using the optional automatic loader and online dresser, it is possible to run the machine unattended 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All feed rates and grinding cycles can be programmed by the operator for optimum cycle time and surface finish.
